When you’re totally lost and have no idea what to get for someone, it can be difficult to wrack your brain to find the absolute perfect Christmas gift. Maybe it’s your in-laws, who seem to already have one of everything or have a penchant for returning anything you do give them. Or grandparents who simply don’t need any more “stuff.” Or someone that you don’t know quite well enough to have a good idea of what they’d be interested in.

A personalized family Christmas ornament is my “go-to” gift when I simply can’t think of anything someone needs. I can personalize the ornament with the names of everyone in the family and the year, and they have a beautiful keepsake to hang on their tree every year. And best of all, it’s unbelievably easy to give. You can buy ornaments like these at mall kiosks, but for me, it’s much easier to go online and order them and have them delivered right to my door. No traffic and no crowds!

What I like best about personalized gifts is that they always looks thoughtful because they have the person’s name on them and show that I bought this gift especially for them. And if a family ornament doesn’t seem right for that particular gift recipient, there is probably at least one ornament out there that they would love, or another kind of personalized gift like a shirt or a wallhanging.
